Only pin sharp 4K cameras will suffice, giving you the ability to enlarge an image to see a scene in unprecedented detail. Smart pan/tilt/zoom cameras can be used to patrol the site during work hours, then auto-tracking technology can follow after hours visitors around the site to record their actions.
Our remote monitoring pedigree (we own SiteDefender® who specialise in the remote protection of construction sites), we are very well placed to provide this kind of service to the automotive industry too. Dealerships can often be vulnerable out of hours, but most wouldn’t like to erect imposing fencing or to deter potential genuine browsers. With tailored remote monitoring, a friendly P.A. announcement can be issued, enough to deter those with malicious intent whilst keeping potential customers on board. If criminal activity is observed, a 999 call will be made.
ANPR could be considered as an add-on too, easily collate vehicle registration plate details of all visitors to site which can be great when suspicious activity is observed.
